We see the term ‘superfoods’ plastered all over the media these days and in adverts. And although the ASA (advertising standards authority) have come down hard on the misuse of the term ‘superfoods’, we still associate it with expensive and exotic items only available from speciality shops. But you don’t have to go far to find some foods that has been proven to help keep us healthy.
Foods that have a powerful effect in our wellbeing and health doesn’t have to be exotic and can even be fairly simple and some of them we use regularly already. What is important is how you prepare the food and what other ingredients you add to the meal. The easiest advice is to keep is simple, raw and fresh.
